   1. Current GoVPP releases have been adhoc (dwallacelf, 14:27:43)
   2. GoVPP versioning is not directly correlated with VPP releases because each GoVPP version supports multiple VPP releases (dwallacelf, 14:28:28)
   3. Golang *really* wants components to use semver.org versioning (dwallacelf, 14:29:57)
