  * David McBride summarized the activity from his angle, i.e. Apex team
    has invested significant effort to maintain stable version and delta

  * Transitioning to XCI will significantly save the maintenance cost

  * On the other hand, even if it is technical feasible to continue to
    use stable, lack of resources makes it very challenging.  (bh526r,
