16:04:46 <morgan_orange> I did
16:04:59 <jose_lausuch> you have to log in, since you are the organizer

16:05:40 <morgan_orange> I am looking for a login/apssword..
16:06:49 <morgan_orange> maybe you can start on the IRC
16:06:58 <morgan_orange> I try to find the login/apssword of GTM organizer
16:07:21 <jose_lausuch> ok
16:07:43 <jose_lausuch> #topic Status on Functest R1
16:08:04 <jose_lausuch> we are planning to do a Functest demo
16:08:08 <jose_lausuch> for the community
16:08:17 <morgan_orange> ok got it
16:08:40 <Malla> Test cases were decided already?
16:13:40 <jose_lausuch> #info Morgan going through the functest history and the existing test cases and tools
16:17:58 <fdegir> you created your own meeting :D
16:18:21 <jose_lausuch> yes
16:18:23 <jose_lausuch> you can join!
16:18:24 <jose_lausuch> https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/566165845
16:18:40 <fdegir> next time
16:19:05 <jose_lausuch> ok
16:34:08 <jose_lausuch> #info test projects have to think about how to present their results according to a common API
16:34:48 <jose_lausuch> #topic Results collection
16:35:07 <jose_lausuch> #info artifacts is not the right place to push the test results
16:38:03 <jose_lausuch> #info MongoDB will be used to store the results
16:38:18 <jose_lausuch> #info Releng will be the place to define the DB structure
16:38:48 <jose_lausuch> #info We don't know yet where to deploy the DB and where to store the results, we will wait for feedback from LF
16:39:06 <jose_lausuch> #topic Test coverage
16:39:38 <jose_lausuch> #info new wiki with R2 vision for testing strategy
16:39:41 <jose_lausuch> #info https://wiki.opnfv.org/testing
16:42:23 <jose_lausuch> #info table showing the testing category and to which testing project it belongs to
16:43:12 <jose_lausuch> #info new requirement projects to test OAM category, like Scalator
16:49:00 <jose_lausuch> #info table per domain (Compute, Storage, Network) according to the blocks in the ETSI point of view https://www.opnfv.org/sites/opnfv/files/blogs/opnfv_diagram_final.jpg
16:49:10 <jose_lausuch> some of the components will not be in the scope
16:49:45 <jose_lausuch> #info some components will be out of scope (computing hw, storage hw, …)
16:52:25 <jose_lausuch> #info idea is to test that the system is cable of deploying vIMS as example of NFV, but not testing in depth vIMS
16:53:05 <jose_lausuch> #info scope is not to test all the NFV, not to have a catalog of all the NFV been tested. Reference will be vIMS
16:56:14 <jose_lausuch> #info David points out that having a candidate/reference VNF validated and tested is the point of opnfv, since it is a platform to deploy VNFs
16:57:10 <jose_lausuch> #info Malla says we should know where the application (VNF) comes from
16:57:42 <jose_lausuch> #info an opensource vIMS would be the reference to prove that the infrastructure is capable of deploying VNFs
17:01:20 <tfherbert1> jose_lausuch: ping
17:01:32 <jose_lausuch> tfherbert1: pong
17:03:45 <jose_lausuch> #info demo to be organized about functest R1
17:04:47 <tfherbert1> jose_lausuch: vPing finally failed because it could not connect to the os authentication URL. I had sourced the one in the keystonrc in the controller node but that IP is not reachable from the "jumpstart" system, the one on which foreman is installed. I can reach the authentication server from a controller node.
