12:05:59 <iwamatsu> #topic Kernel maintenance updates
12:06:12 <uli> still reviewing 6.1.28
12:06:20 <pave1> Reviewing 6.1.28 / 29.
12:06:21 <masami> This week reported 0 new CVEs and 8 updated CVEs.
12:06:41 <iwamatsu> I am reviewing 6.1.28.
12:07:39 <iwamatsu> anything else on kernel maintenance updates?
12:07:50 <iwamatsu> 3
12:07:53 <iwamatsu> 2
12:07:54 <patersonc[m]> I have a question
12:07:56 <iwamatsu> 1
12:08:07 <iwamatsu> Please go ahead
12:08:15 <patersonc[m]> Is the kernel team getting enough time to review the stable-rc releases in time before they are released?
12:08:34 <patersonc[m]> I note that 6.1.29-rc1 was shared yesterday
12:08:38 <pave1> Not really.
12:10:12 <patersonc[m]> Does available time/people need to be increased? Or are we okay with the current setup?
12:10:25 <pave1> To be more exact, it really depends on release size. 6.1.28 (for example) is huge, and now the releases are expected to get smaller till the next huge one (coinciding with next mainline kernel).
12:11:08 <patersonc[m]> ah okay
12:11:19 <pave1> Its Greg. Greg does what he wants. Not sure we can change that :-).
12:12:47 <patersonc[m]> We can probably move on iwamatsu
12:13:03 <iwamatsu> ok, lets move next.
12:13:20 <iwamatsu> #topic Kernel release status
12:13:25 <iwamatsu> -4.4
12:13:29 <uli> on track
12:13:41 <iwamatsu> -4.19
12:14:21 <pave1> We'd like to do 4.19-cip-rt when releases match.
12:15:02 <iwamatsu> OK.
12:15:49 <iwamatsu> and yesterday, new 4.19.y was released. I will update 4.19.y-cip this week.
12:15:59 <iwamatsu> -5.10
12:16:23 <pave1> I'm currently working on 5.10.179-cip32-rt13 release.
12:16:34 <iwamatsu> nice
12:17:18 <iwamatsu> I will update 5.10.y-cip this week.
12:17:34 <iwamatsu> #topic Kernel testing
12:18:00 <pave1> patersonc: Thanks for the quick fix, tests now seem to pass.
12:18:09 <patersonc[m]> I believe the two issues reported today are fixed

12:20:09 <iwamatsu> 1
12:20:22 <iwamatsu> patersonc[m]: ok
12:20:27 <iwamatsu> #topic AOB
12:20:51 <pave1> I believe risc-v meeting is in hour and half.
12:22:36 <iwamatsu> oh yes
12:22:39 <patersonc[m]> What are CIP#s aims for the meeting?
12:23:06 <pave1> I don't believe we have concrete goals.
12:26:00 <iwamatsu> Is it RISC-V meeting?
12:26:56 <patersonc[m]> "RISC-V presentation for CIP"
12:26:59 <pave1> I believe so. "RISC-V presentation for CIP Thursday May 18, 2023 ⋅ 7am – 8am Pacific Time - Los Angeles"
