13:59:23 <dwallacelf> #info PR#305 was recently submitted which fixes a race between reconnect() and access in statsclient.  Needs to be reviewed.  Dave's comment is that it moves the lock to before the connect state check and a lockless solution to detect connected status / reconnect failure would be more performant.
