Meeting summary

1. 1. Discussion around IPAM - Option 1: Configure as hostlocal and each node will have a IP pool preconfigured. This configuration will be statically set in ODL DHCP (premsankar, 15:13:55)
   2. Each POD in a namespace will be mapped to an ELAN instance and when the namespace spans multiple node, VPN Instance will be created and the ELANs will get attached. This ensures the PODs in a namespace can communicate with each other (premsankar, 15:53:36)
   3. The YANG model has to updated to reflect the changes (premsankar, 15:54:03)
   4. Watcher needs to be updated to provide namespace information (premsankar, 15:54:19)
   5. Prem to validate this model with NetVirt team (premsankar, 15:56:16)
   6. Summary - 1. Each K8S node will get a CIDR and this gets allocated when a node joins the K8S cluster (premsankar, 22:00:08)
   7. 2. The PODs gets an IP address from the nodes IP address range (premsankar, 22:00:40)
   8. 3. The Pods gets mapped to unique elan instance and when Pods of a namespace spawns multiple nodes they get attached to VPN Instance and this enables all Pods in a namespace to communicate with each other (premsankar, 22:02:17)
   9. 4. The DHCP request would be handled locally in each nodes (premsankar, 22:02:45)
