   2. surekha pointed out that the proposed version scheme : major.[minor.[micro]]-v{year}{month}{day}{hour}{min}{sec}_{git short SHA} will not work for version ranges (Madhu, 16:19:12)

   15. the ODL parent will only include 3rd party dependencies, and no SNAPSHOTs. The SNAPSHOTs would appear in the parent pom of *each project* (tbachman, 16:49:02)
