   1. openflowjava and openflowplugin code has been merged (tbachman, 19:08:43)
   2. The good news is that the openflowplugin now has some of the APIs needed for the OVSDB plugin (tbachman, 19:09:26)
   3. Madhu just submitted the code for the resubmit (tbachman, 19:09:41)
   4. some of the neutron services can now legerage these features (LBaaS, FWaas) (tbachman, 19:12:11)
   5. With the extensions available, we can now do the ARP Responder, and Madhu is working on that now (tbachman, 19:13:16)
   6. With code freeze at the beginning of Sept. we may not be able to get LBaaS in time for Helium (tbachman, 19:14:43)
   
   
2. L3 Services (tbachman, 19:15:03)
   1. security groups has already been merged (tbachman, 19:15:17)
   2. Now that resubmit is available, the pieces are available for FWaaS (tbachman, 19:16:22)
   3. The OpenStack APIs aren’t generated for some of the functionality that’s being added to the OVSDB plugin. dave_tucker has been working on an out-of-tree version of the ODL ML2 plugin to start connecting these up (tbachman, 19:17:55)
   4. dave_tucker started looking at L3 and FWaaS, and found that the ODL mechanism driver isn’t any good, as the REST client used won’t work with ODL (tbachman, 19:18:59)
   5. However, we can’t get these changes merged into Juno b/c there’s no blueprint for them (tbachman, 19:19:24)
   6. dave_tucker emailed w/mestery about this, and is working on an out-of-tree mechanism driver for ODL (tbachman, 19:19:58)
   7. dave_tucker is targeting this friday to have L3 plumbed in (tbachman, 19:22:05)

   3. shague got a commit in to use the latest MD-SAL (dfarrell07, 19:38:51)
   4. where different renderers can be used (e.g. LISP, OVSDB) (tbachman, 19:39:40)
   5. to implement the service chains (tbachman, 19:39:51)
   6. Madhu is working with shague on the NXM extensions (tbachman, 19:41:10)

   3. Initial goals for test coverage were 60%, and stretch of 80% (tbachman, 19:46:16)
   4. Current overall coverage is 44.4% (tbachman, 19:46:45)
   5. The NXM extensions have 0% coverage, which is a place where folks can contribute (tbachman, 19:47:11)
   6. There also isn’t any coverage of OF 1.3 programming (tbachman, 19:48:45)
