   4. Tomi's maintenance proposal places the Inspector as the main actor rather than directly calling existing Nova APIs (cgoncalves, 16:32:36)
   5. the "inspector" is a kind of shim-layer for Nova, as Tomi argued it will be difficult to implement such functionality directly in Nova (GeraldK, 16:33:22)
   6. Gerald proposes to use a different term than "inspector" (GeraldK, 16:34:08)
   7. in line with the new proposed inspector maintenance admin workflow, Tomi suggests an inspector maintenance admin api (cgoncalves, 16:42:32)
   8. parameters include: start time, end time, timeout, action, host, and target_host (optional) (cgoncalves, 16:44:17)
   9. 'timeout' parameter indicates a timeout in seconds to get an ACK from VM owners telling they've taken the necessary procedures (e.g. switch-over). if one VM owner does not ack, maintenance scheduling is aborted (cgoncalves, 16:47:08)

   1. we will start with Vitrage. Ohad and Ifat take the floor resuming discussions from previous meetings on Vitrage (cgoncalves, 17:17:39)
   2. Plugins for nagios, nova, ceilometer, configuration files, cinder, neutron are ready for Mitaka release. missing plugins are heat, monasca and zabbix (cgoncalves, 17:27:41)
   3. correction: plugins for cinder and neutron are not 100% ready but WIP for mitaka (cgoncalves, 17:29:32)
   4. Ifat gave a quick overview of Vitrage architecture (cgoncalves, 17:30:13)
   5. Ifat is presenting a live demo featuring at the moment topology view (cgoncalves, 17:30:59)
   6. nagios is being used in the demo as monitor. injecting a fake memory critical problem (cgoncalves, 17:32:15)
   7. vitrage caught the alarm generated from nagios. we can see a deduced alarm derived from the memory problem affecting tenant instances (cgoncalves, 17:34:03)
   8. currently vitrage is pooling nagios. it should be possible to get a push from nagios (cgoncalves, 17:36:56)
   9. we are wrapping up with general Q&A and collaboration plans between Doctor and Vitrage (cgoncalves, 18:04:21)
