2. New OpenStack project for rolling maintenance and upgrade in interaction with application on top of it (Doctor use case) (bh526r, 13:06:16)

   3. Tomi first summarized what OPNFV Doctor project is (bh526r, 13:10:04)
   4. Tomi reviewed the Fault Management Use Case in Doctor project (bh526r, 13:10:38)
   5. Tomi described the Fault Management design, i.e. the way Doctor communicates with Northbound (bh526r, 13:11:28)
   6. Then Tomi reviewed Doctor Maintenance Use Case (bh526r, 13:12:07)
   7. And Tomi introduced Maintenance Design in details (bh526r, 13:14:13)
   8. A Maintenance Workflow is also presented (bh526r, 13:19:22)

Tomi summarized the key takeaways, i.e. zero downtime, knowing new capabilities, no vendor lock-in, awareness of hosts under maintenance, generic messaging, no additional hardware, scaling and retiring of apps, multitenancy, and applicability to broad range of service providers (bh526r, 13:33:21)
   11. New OpenStack Fenix project is responsible for Maintenance Management tools (bh526r, 13:34:28)
   12. The rational includes new tooling, generic implementation, natural fit for OpenStack etc (bh526r, 13:36:41)
   13. Pierre asked if the maintenance request is from BSS/OSS? (bh526r, 13:39:40)
   14. Tomi said not sure, because he is not familiar with that area (bh526r, 13:40:01)
   15. Bin asked if "project" in use cases means the apps/VNFs (bh526r, 13:40:19)
   16. Tomi answered yes, "project" is OpenStack terminology, and they means the same thing as apps/VNFs (bh526r, 13:41:03)
   17. Tomi is trying to make Fenix alive in OpenStack, and Ryota will help of course. (bh526r, 13:43:48)
   18. They are looking for more participation and contribution from OPNFV community to participate and contribute to Fenix project in OpenStack (bh526r, 13:44:18)
