  2. New WG Proposal - Closed Loop Automation within OPNFV (bh526r, 13:06:17)

    3. Background: idea was introduced in Developer Gathering on April 2, and introduced to Weekly Technical Discussion on April 22 (bh526r, 13:07:56)

    5. Bin suggested to make it more specific in terms of liaison with external communities, e.g. specific projects in ONAP for Closed-Loop Automation etc. (bh526r, 13:19:45)

    7. Sunku will revise the wiki to make the external liaison more specific (bh526r, 13:20:41)
    8. All agreed to recommend this proposal for TSC approval (bh526r, 13:21:13)

  3. Next PlugFest Planning (bh526r, 13:21:33)
    1. David encouraged remote access for cloud-based environment (bh526r, 13:22:18)
    2. Trevor indicated there are 2 separate issues (bh526r, 13:24:52)
    3. One is hosting hardware onsite (bh526r, 13:25:04)
    4. The other is for host to provide hardware resources (bh526r, 13:26:45)
    5. We used to support both in the past PlugFest (bh526r, 13:27:52)
    6. It is essential to access hardware either local or remote (bh526r, 13:28:29)
    7. It doesn't matter the hardware is onsite or remote (bh526r, 13:29:21)
    8. we need to have planning meeting to make it organized (bh526r, 13:32:00)
    9. David indicated that in Gambia PlugFest planning meeting, Nokia and Wind River attended. (bh526r, 13:33:37)
    10. Wind River ended up with using remote access to their lab (bh526r, 13:34:21)
    11. Trevor suggested that we can discuss it in TSC to get some input, e.g. high level goals (bh526r, 13:38:31)
    12. David will send an email to a more targeted list (prior participants and current registrants), and ask for input of agenda, and session proposal. (bh526r, 13:44:35)
    13. David will also ask if they are interested in attending a planning meeting of PlugFest (bh526r, 13:51:14)
    14. Based on feedback, David will judge the community interest and decide next step - planning meeting or not (bh526r, 13:51:44)
