   2. there aren't any substantial differences but of we require virtio pmd driver patch which should be merged upstream by now. (tfherbert, 18:20:52)
   
   
3. upstream dpdk version. Version 17.02 target date is right about now. rc3 is already out. (tfherbert, 18:21:43)
   1. It is time to work on 17.02 packaging for dpdk. (tfherbert, 18:22:02)
